Among the tools to save the lives of addicts is Narcan, which used to be as cheap as $20 a box to keep on ambulances, but, now the pharmaceutical company charges more than $200, reducing access to this life-saving material and increasing opiate-related deaths. I wonder what changed...

Narcania mural in Clarion Alley, San Francisco, conceived and painted by Erin Ruch and Mikey Reger—both artists with Mission Minicomix, in collaboration with the Harm Reduction Coalition’s DOPE project. People have seen this mural and come to access Naloxone kits for the first time because of it. Public art as harm reduction!
