Fullerton cops, evicting homeless people from a camp they were herded to by police, are giving out the same phony reassurances, empty referrals, and move-along agenda that are often used by authorities throughout the state. Santa Cruz didn't even provide the semblance of alternatives when it rousted several hundred homeless in December 2011, swept the levee in the summer of 2012, and ramps up anti-homeless laws and policies in 2013. Mayor Bryant is currently fashioning new rationales for attacking the homeless through redefining survival behavior as "crime" through her Public Safety Citizen Task Force.
