ACTION CALENDER
A list of gatherings, workshops, and educational events in the greater Bay Area region

The National Days of Action for Justice for Saudi War Crimes in Yemen:
- November 1-6: Lobby Week - People are encouraged to meet with Congressional staffers and/or call their offices
- Nov. 7: National Protest Day, people are encouraged to organize local protests. Main protests are being held at Saudi Embassies in Los Angeles (1PM PST) and Washington, D.C. (1PM EST)
In light of the latest bombing of a Doctors Without Borders hospital in Yemen by the US-backed Saudi coalition, Americans will take part in national days of action to ask the US government & President Obama to stop all US military aid to Saudi Arabia.
Since April 2015, the Saudi Arabia-led coalition has been relentlessly bombing the impoverished nation of Yemen with the assistance of American taxpayer dollars and regional allies.
In August, UNICEF released a report that there have been 1,000 child casualties. This Saudi campaign against Yemen has been lasting longer than the 2014 Israeli slaughter of Gaza, where civilians were deliberately murdered, according to testimony from IDF soldiers. Coincidentally, Israel is part of the Saudi coalition against Yemen.
Saudi Arabia is the wealthiest country in the Middle East, Yemen the poorest.

"America’s Dark History of Supporting Ukrainian Fascists and War Criminals" (2015-08-10, slavyangrad.org) [http://is.gd/UH5qN5]
Nov. 7th Saturday, at 12 noon
Meet in front of Cafe de la Presse, 352 Grant St., San Francisco.
On the Anniversary of one of the most significant months of history: The October Revolution!
Defend our Progressive Gains towards Socialism! United with the Progressive Forces worldwide! PROTEST AGAINST THE FASCIST UKRAINIAN GOVERNMENT!
Bring signs with messages against fascism, and anything in relation to Lenin and the October Revolution (Nov. 7, 1917).
At 12 NOON, we'll march up the block to the Ukrainian consulate (530 Bush Street).
STAY ON THE SIDEWALK, and be mindful of pedestrians, We will pause at the consulate for a moment to reflect on the victims of fascism,
Chants are welcome! Suggestions include: "Never forgive, Never forget"! ; "Fight fascism here at home"! ; "Bring Back the Soviet Union"!
We are here to remember the gains for the people made during the October Revolution that continue to inspire the people worldwide to throw off their chains and yokes.
We defend the memory and history of the Communist Party that come out of the October Revolution, especially now, with the rise of a revisionist history written by fascists and pro-Nazis during the old Cold War which is utilized to smear the history of not only Lenin's Communist Party, but also against all socialist forces worldwide. This revisionist history is now, under the guidance of the USA, official history for the Republic of Ukraine, though the Communist Party there has been and always remained popular, and now, the USA-dominated Republic of Ukraine has criminalized opposition to the revival of fascism, and is mandating the rehabilitation of 20th century fascist leaders such as Stepan Bandara, a man who slaughtered unknown thousands of Poles, ethnic Russians (Novorossiyans of the Don-Bas region), and Jews, among other persecuted nationalities targeted for extermination by Hitler's war.
Many people who disagree with this revisionist history are being incarcerated right now in Ukraine! Continuing Hitler's war, today, revisionists employed at the State Department are placing monuments to a 'holodomor' famine that took place in the 1930's whose deaths are blamed on the Soviet Union ( and specifically on Joseph Stalin). It was the collectivization of Soviet agriculture that mitigated the effects of the famine and ended all subsequent famines. The collectivization of Soviet agriculture is one of the USSR's greatest triumphs and an example of the superiority of the socialist planned economic system. Fascists have always been for the erasure of these historical facts!
TODAY WE CELEBRATE October 1917! We denounce the lies of the Bandara fascists in Ukraine and their supporters in the United States, We call on the people of California and worldwide, to uphold our common socialist history and building towards a progressive future, to continue on the path of the October Revolution. Further, we call upon the United States to cease all military assistance to the Ukrainian fascists, and call for a public apology to all U.S. veterans of WW II and victims of Nazi crimes against humanity in Ukraine and Poland.
NEVER FORGET! NEVER FORGIVE!
Long live the October Revolution!
